Josh Brolin’s Behind the Scenes of “No Country For Old Men”: A Completely Unauthorized Documentary

As Joel and Ethan Coen were editing their masterpiece, Josh Brolin was trying to figure out what to do with the hours of home video footage he had shot on set. He wanted a proper tribute to the experience of working with the masters, but Joel and Ethan Coen explicitly stated that they had no desire to be aggrandized, and this was why there were so few BTS docs on their releases. So Josh went in an entirely different direction, and I was brought on to help edit this mockumentary that bravely details the horrors of working with the cruel and inhumane Coen brothers. Joel and Ethan appreciated the dark humor, and included it in their Special Edition release of “No Country For Old Men”.
