Studio West Pictures, who produced this documentary for the Blu-Ray release of HBO’s “Watchmen”, is one of my long-term clients. I’ve had the pleasure of editing dozens of highly unconventional documentaries, teases, and trailers for them focusing on the DC Universe and CW Network series. My work with Studio West has involved not only editing, but also designing original graphics in After Effects and Photoshop, as well as bringing classic comic book stills to life via layering and 2D or 3D motion. In addition to being a study in tight and focused storytelling with a marketing lean, these projects have allowed me to build my visual skillsets.
