I’ve spent many seasons editing the World Series of Poker for ESPN, and more recently, CBS Sports – from packages, to teases, to full show assembly. This is partially because I love the production team at Echo Entertainment, and partially because my poker game has improved massively since my first time doing the show. In 2018, one of my responsibilities was creating the teases for each day’s live broadcast. As one day’s show wrapped, the planning for the next day’s tease would begin, and I’d have a few hours to turn around something that would keep viewers tuned in.
